![]() ![]() The catch was MAD, multiclassing Warlock and Cleric simply would not do, but Divine Soul Sorcerer get's access to the Cleric spell list, which includes both Spiritual Weapon and Spirit Shroud. For more information about Wizards of the Coast or any of Wizards' trademarks or other intellectual property, please visit their website at I've been looking at the Spirit Shroud spell for a while, and honestly, I personally feel it is just a little weak for the classes that get it, maybe a bladesinger could make use of it but it's not the most dpr really, with both hexblade and bladesinger they both only get 2 attacks per attack action, 3 if dual weailding, that's a max dpr of 3d8, clerics get access to spiritual weapon, but sadly the dpr is the same there too.Īt levels 11 and 17 warlocks Eldritch Blast upgrade to 3 and 4 beams respectively, but you can't add any more attacks after that since you can't make an offhand attack after casting a cantrip (I haven't messed with Bladesinger much, but it's possible a bladesinger with magic Innitiate for EB and crossbow expert might out perform the following build if you can ignore the MAD.) therefore I figured if I could get Spiritual weapon and Eldritch Blast on the same build, it would out perform Spirit Guardians both at low levels and especially at high levels.
